Meet Diane Mccallum
I founded Unbridled to help individuals reconnect with their authentic selves. My journey began when, broken and lost, I found healing in nature, community, sacred spaces, the unflinching love of dogs and in the quiet company of horses. Here I learned that true healing happens through presence, trust, and the wisdom of the herd. Today, I invite you to join us in this sacred space to discover your own path to inner peace.
The Herd

George
An intuitive soul who offers non-judgmental presence and a calming energy to every circle. George has had a tough life, and appreciates the kindness and love he now knows.Â
Rupert
Small and mighty, Rupert is a pocket rocket of happiness. He adores cuddles, knows his own mind and has a fan club of children, who love his calm but silly nature.Â
The Herd Wisdom
Our animals lead us back to ourselves, teaching us the art of gentle presence and honest connection. George and Rupert bring their own personalities to every interaction and Circle. They, like us, are not expected to perform, simply be.Â

The Companions

Wilfred
Wilf has been by my side though both the darkest and the happiest days. A steady, kind gent with a cheeky side; his ability to communicate , especially where food is involved is something to behold!

Harold
Harold is a best friend to everyone. Life is an adventure to him. Named after my grandad, they share the same kind soul, silly humour and soft heart.Â

Katie
Rescued from the Chinese meat trade, then abandoned again in the UK, Katie is testimony to love overcoming all. Her ability to forgive and to welcome joy is a lesson to everyone who meets her.Â

The Sacred Land

I moved to Lincolnshire to escape.Â
To escape trauma, misogyny and the relentless noise of London life.Â
A job offer that provided a simple transition was a gift that I couldn't refuse.Â
That role allowed me to reclaim my own inner child; the joy of play, the power of laughter and whimsy. It also taught me the importance of caring for our children's mental health early in life, and doing so in a way that is gentle and natural.
What I didn't anticipate was the effect that the big skies and slower pace of life would have on my soul.Â
In my spare time, Wilf and I walked miles together. I re-connected with nature and I wanted to understand the ancient ways more. Herbalism and the power of plants was the natural path for me, and I'm rarely seen without a pair of secateurs in hand, respectfully borrowing from Mother Earth

Working long hours in the Met meant my love of horses had been muted for 25 years.Â
I jumped at the opportunity to welcome them back to my life and I met George over a stable door.Â
I knew immediately that we were here to heal each other, and the journey began. Rain, sleet, snow or sun, in his and Rupert's presence, I have purpose and can breath again.Â
Practising Natural Horsemanship, they show me their true selves and listening to them is the greatest honour.Â

I moved to Lincolnshire to escape; what I found here was the will to live again, in all my true colours. Â
Lincolnshire, UK
My love affair with the area around Monteleone Sabino began decades ago.Â
Vulnerable and burnt out, annual holidays with my dearest friends were the only time I was able to drop my guard, truly be myself, without fear, and embrace human connection.
I lived the rest of the year wishing I was there; able to close my eyes and hear the crunching gravel underfoot, the sun on my face and the sound of the swifts chirping as they dipped into the pool.Â

Rural, unspoilt and real, the land itself encouraged healing. Mountain air, blue skies and the scent of wild flowers in the air. Sleep, with doors open, surrounded by olive groves was deeper, more restorative. Perhaps this isn't entirely romantic imagination; plants release natural airborne compounds, phytoncides, thought to help the body's stress response and support the nervous system.Â
Of course, great company, wonderful food and kindly locals, who accepted my messy attempts to speak Italian with gentle smiles, all helped.Â
I made a promise to myself 15 years ago that I would make this area my home, become part of the community and invite others to experience its healing presence.Â

Unbridled is the beautiful fulfilment of that promise.Â
